I’ve seen my share of proposed solutions over the past year, some of which requiring payment to execute. I had to share this FREE recent solution provided by the Hootsuite Application that works perfectly. Now as we all await Google+ to formalize this feature for G+ users………. have no fear as there is a way!
2 things you need to get started:
1- Sign up for a FREE Hootsuite account (you can also pay for the PREMIUM version, if needed…I just went with the FREE one, myself)

1- Get the category # of the category you want “excluded” form your RSS feed
(note: in my example my category was “movies” which had a category number of 12)
2- open & edit the “functions.php” file
3- add the following code below to the bottom of your functions.php file
(also make sure you replace the -12 with the # from step 1, add a – sign to it also)
4- Save functions.php file

Sometimes, you will find the need to pump in an RSS feed from your Twitter account. This used to be pretty easy, though Twitter has been screwing around with the RSS buttons and options they used to show. So when you go to your page (logged in or not), this former function seems to be missing.
Have no fear as I have 2 shortcuts for you.
Not a big deal, use the 2 URLS below and replace the “XXXX” with your Twitter page name.
